Protests break out over controversial SC decision
Urban poor flexes muscles before March 26 'Stop GMA!' rally

Urban poor protesters are set to pour out into various points of Commonwealth Avenue, among other areas, tomorrow (March 19) in outrage over the Supreme Court decision allowing President Arroyo to appoint a 'midnight' Chief Justice, and the apparent 'master plan' to keep Arroyo in power beyond 2010.

This comes exactly a week before the urban poor, led by the Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (Kadamay) and Anakpawis Partylist, will march on Malacanang Palace (March 26) to demand that Arroyo step down, cease all efforts to remain in power including her candidacy for Pampanga congressman, and face all charges related to her corrupt and anti-poor 9-year reign.
