End the corrupt US-Aquino regime!

Three years of Aquino’s presidency have promised a mandate of clean governance with annual budgets that are always dubbed as ‘pro-poor’ to justify its massive increase.

Every year, Aquino allots P10B from his pork barrel since 2011 until 2016 to address the housing problem of urban poor in the Philippines. This aside from the multi-billion annual budget allotted to key shelter agencies including the National Housing Authority for its socialized housing programs. Aside from these, the Aquino administration has crafted a P351B flood control master plan, while it has continuously blamed the urban poor for the frequent flooding in Metro Manila.

But like other programs that take huge chunk of the national budget, (such as  multi-billion Conditional Cash Transfer),  all actions of the Aquino administration for the poor have remained futile.

Every year, it has denied the clamor for a genuine land reform and national industrial program which will only answer the chronic poverty in the country.

Needless to say, the poverty in the country has worsened under the Aquino administration. According to the Social Weather Station, the number of poor Filipino families has risen from 8.9M when Aquino assumed his post in 2010 to 10.6M in 2013.

Every year, Aquino has been announcing that the taxpayer’s money will be spent for the upliftment of the lives of his boss, the Filipino people. But it has been lying to us that billions of pesos are annually allotted for his real boss who are the imperialists through foreign debt servicing, and for the pork barrel system for his own means of corruption and political patronage.

With the quick turn of events around the pork barrel scam and the magnitude of corruption within the bureaucracy, the urban poor have lost any hope that the corrupt Aquino regime will ensure a better future ahead for the Filipino people.

The Filipino people have to end the corrupt and fascist Aquino regime, now. It's never been so timely to end the system that has kept as hostages millions of Filipino under at the mercy of  feudalism, bureaucrat capitalism and imperialism. ###
